Trust is the firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. Trust in action is when I believe in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of.
I have operated most of my life under the “trust until given a reason not to” frame of thinking. I know others who are the opposite and do not trust anyone until given a reason TO trust.
Trust can be broken. It can be restored. Trust can be relied upon in times of struggle.
I have been on the side of broken trust and I have been the one who has broken the trust of people who firmly believed in me, that what I said was true and my ability to fulfill my commitment. I have been down the road to rebuild that trust.
There is a whole other level of trust when it comes to those times in our lives when things seem off, out of control, or just don’t make sense…
This week I have had my trust tested. I’m not going to say in a negative manner, but certainly in the realm of needing to trust in what I say I believe.
Faith is defined as the COMPLETE trust or confidence in something or someone.
I have not shied away from my faith in any of my blog posts.
Me, along with many others are putting complete trust in the Lord to help a dear friend through a trial.
I have faith in Him. I have complete trust in Him and His plans and that gives me Hope.
